The Brooklyn College Theater Department Presents

SEASON PREMIERE!

John Patrick Shanley's
Savage In Limbo

Directed by Rose Burnett Bonczek
A Mainstage Production

Written by Academy, Tony, and Pulitzer Prize Award winning author John Patrick Shanley (Moonstruck and Doubt), Savage in Limbo is a darkly comic tale of five desperate souls, who collide at a seedy bar in the Bronx; a bar where the jukebox is out and the plants have all died. Stuck in their various suspended lives, a failed nun, an Italian stud and his erstwhile girlfriend, a 32-year old virgin, and a mysterious bartender are all hunting for an escape route, leading to wildly humorous as well as highly tense confrontations and, ultimately, surprising resolutions.  This hilariously, compelling drama delves into the hearts and dreams of these five memorable characters desperately seeking deliverance.
