The Brooklyn College Theater Department Presents
Adam Bock's
The Thugs
Directed by Welker White, Director
A Thesis Production
Dark rumors are being spread by office temps
populating the ninth floor office space in
Adam Bock's Obie Award-winning play, The
Thugs.
Threatened
by possible unemployment, the ominous police
presence in the building, and the fact that
the workers on the sixteenth floor get tons
of free candy, danger seems to loom in the
most unexpected and mundane places in this
thrilling comedy about office politics and
the everyday challenges to human existence.
The play is a non-stop
nightmare of a comedy, at once realistic and absurd.
Oh, and what about that heavy breathing in
the dark?!
