Brooklyn Center Cinema
and the Brooklyn College Film
in Association with
Overture Films
Present
A Film by Antoine Fuqua
Brooklyn's Finest
Starring Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Ethan
Hawke and Wesley Snipes
Written by Michael C. Martin and Brad Caleb
Kane.
On the
Giant Screen and in breathtaking 6
Channel Total Surround MegaSound, the
last film of the season is fittingly one
that emerges from pages of writer and
Brooklyite, Michael C. Martin.
Powerful and unflinching, the film
immerses the viewer in the nether world
-- some would call it a subculture of
its own -- of police, drug dealers,
detectives, and pimps. How three
of Brooklyn's Finest maneuver through
the rules, some legitimate, some
fabricated for their own sense of
self-worth and some necessarily broken
for their survival. These three
seemingly unconnected Brooklyn cops wind
up at the same deadly location after
enduring vastly different career paths.
Advisory:
This film is Rated [R] by MPAA Rating
Code due to bloody violence throughout,
strong language, nudity, drug use,
sexual content including simulated sex.
