Notes: 

• Grand curtain flies only; it does not split.  All travelers split and fly.
   
• If you prevail (the reasons will have to be near-cataclysmic), and we agree to strike the travelers for your production, be aware that you will still have to deal with the track weight, and can only add a little over 400lbs.

• Please note: with a working pipe travel of 41’, and a proscenium opening of 20’, scenery with a height more than 20 feet will not fly out completely, unless you are really good with a section and trims.

• Pipes that are directly upstage and downstage of an Electric have almost zero clearance of the adjacent instruments and can easily foul on them, therefore they should be used with extreme caution.

• The house has approximately 2000lbs of free weight after loading the normal house rep light plot and soft goods hang.  The house weight ingots are shared by two theatres; this will require that you plan ahead and get an accurate account of your needs before you arrive.  Share this information with the Production Manager long before your arrival to avoid the real disaster that coming up short of arbor weight will cause.

• The total amount of weight when the house is stripped, is 7,344lbs. (268 full, 17 half, 8 quarters)

• Most pipes fly in to about 4’ off the deck, except line sets 13 (6’) and 12 (5’).

• The CinemaScope motion picture screen has a delicate micro-reflective surface which can very easily be damaged.  Even seemingly innocent handprints can permanently mar this surface. Therefore the screen is never used for anything but motion picture presentation.  It cannot be used as a backdrop for downstage performances. 
  
  The Production Manager and Cinema Director jointly may make a variance for specific situations such as for front projection of video or slide presentations, but even then, an overwhelming  preponderance of demonstrable need will have to be convincingly made.  In any event, a variance almost never will be given if, at the same time the screen is on the deck, the stage is being used for live performance.  This applies equally to using the screen's integrated curtain as a backdrop.  Use of the screen for the very limited instances named above will always incur a very substantial, additional rental fee.  
   
• For video or slide projection, consider using our Rear Projection screen (which is available for a nominal rental fee); for both applications -- slides and video -- a wide angle lens will be needed to fill the 9ft screen comfortably.  Video and slide projectors properly lensed, can be brought in by the company, or the Center can supply a complete package at an additional rental charge.
